A few weeks ago Country Food Services launched a new initiative to help the local schools in and around our area.
We contacted the parent teacher associations (PTA’s) and offered them a purchasing code to apply to their individual school when shopping with us. This code automatically sets aside 10% of the cash value of all purchases which are then paid directly back to the school at the end of each month.
The cash amount can be used by the school for books, PC’s, electronic tablets or anything the school and the PTA seem fit. If you think this scheme could benefit your local school or college please get in touch and we can set it up with you
This valentines will be like no other. We cant go out, so it’s the perfect opportunity to make a real effort.
We have put together a few of the Valentines favourites that we would normally be sending out to some of the top hotels and restaurants at this time of year but as we are in lock down, why not have a go and make that special romantic meal at home. In fact, as it has fallen on the Sunday why not make it a special weekend??
As supermarket shopping becomes more dangerous, and certainly less convenient, the world is turning to online.
But not all online food shopping is the same. Unfortunately with many on line meat suppliers you are literally buying off a website. Your order is then processed by a third party and shipped out. Often the on line supplier is nothing more than a front and they themselves have no, or very little idea of the quality of the products. They are therefore unaware of the food standards of the company shipping your order.
So why choose Country Foods as your premium meat supplier? Well first of all, Country Food Services not only supplies the public with nation wide deliveries, but we also supply some of the top restaurants, hotels and gastro pubs in the country. The products you order from us are the very same as you will eat in these restaurants. Our products are frequently seen on numerous TV cookery shows.
In order to achieve this status we have our very own temperature controlled, purpose built food production premises which also has full EC approval. All of our butchering is all done in house by our master butchers. In fact every stage of your order is done in house, from the minute you send us your online basket to the finished order leaving our loading bay for distribution to your front door.
I’m sure you will agree that food safety is paramount all the time, but especially during these Covid pandemic times. Isn’t it nice to know that your fresh meat supplier is working to the highest international standards possible to help keep you safe.
I just wanted to say a great big Happy New Year to all of our loyal, and might I add very much valued customers. This time last year seems like just a distant memory to most of us but it got me thinking, pretty much every January we all promise ourselves, this year is the time to get fit. So now we are all locked up and not able to go out again, maybe this is the January we could actually be able to stick to the New Year’s Resolution.
With this in mind we have added a healthy eating section to the website, and to give you even more of an incentive we have got a 10% sale on for the whole of January.
At the checkout just apply the code healthy2021 and you will get 10% off your shopping bill.
(Please not this discount does not apply to the already reduced 5kg chicken fillets)
So we’ve been thinking. Its been a rough year (or as the Queen would say “annus horribilis) so I think its fair to say we should eat drink and be merry this Christmas, but don’t worry, when you order your Christmas Faye with us this year we will e-mail you out a voucher code for a healthy eating January where you will be able to get 10% discount for all orders placed in January from the new HEALTHY EATING category .
Its been a pretty horrible year I’m sure you will agree.
But here is something with a feel good factor.
Every year Country Food Services donates all the meat and meat products for the War veterans at Broughton House Veteran Care Village in Salford for the festive period. Its heart warming to talk with the veterans and the amazing staff at Broughton House, and to be able to make sure that each year the charity receives all the meat they need to give the residents a Christmas to remember, is a lovely feeling. Why not have a look and see for yourselves the fantastic work this charity does
Whatever Christmas throws at us this year with its new rules and regulations, one thing is for sure, these Veterans deserve a great Christmas and like previous years we will work with the staff at Broughton House to make sure they get one
